Good morning.

I say good morning because that’s what it always is when you’re around: Sunny.

My name is Sara El-Yafi, and I write. I do it right here on my website, on social media, and on the faces of sleeping people. As a well-rounded socio-political writer, I do my best to make sure that my posts about politics, culture, public policy, nation-building, development, the world, and love bring out an avid reader in you as you hopefully find an echo of your thoughts in my writings.

I am Lebanese. I hold a Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. I work as a political adviser; on good days political executives listen to me, on great days, they implement my policy advice, and on bad days, I die. I haven’t had a bad day yet, nor a great day actually. Funny life. My motive is always to serve the public good, all for the greater good of mankind, plantkind, and momkind.

Some of you may already know me as the author of the Harvard Israeli Mezze Station post that went viral on Facebook (if you don’t have Facebook, click here). Luckily, I have plenty more stories to share with you.

Let’s now start with this story of our friendship. Glad to have you here. Subscribe to my website. And feel free to contact me if you wish to tell me something, or maybe vent about something not nice. You can also find me on Facebook and Twitter.

So many conversations to be had, let’s get started.

Welcome.

Sara El-Yafi
